Problem domain research
We begin the development process by thoroughly defining the problem. We then research existing solutions based on niche domain knowhow, offered by experts of the given field.
Search for optimal technology
After the problem and current state of solutions are known, the search for optimal technology begins. We seek out technology that efficiently solves the problem, while keeping an eye on the cost of development and ownership of such technology.
Proof of concept
We iterate concepts by using bits and pieces of solutions that will fit into the final product. We avoid testing out concepts that would solve the problem, but at the same time are already doomed to fail in a commercial environment due to price, availability, or performance issues.
Product development
After proof of concept is successfully completed, the development of the final product begins. Important decisions based on expected yearly quantity are made in this stage. Important ratios between manual and automatic manufacturing are fine tuned and in case of increased quantities the amount of atomatized operations are also increased.
