The aim of SmartSenseLabs system is early detection of future failure of electromotors in various industries where production takes place. The sensor captures electromotor's vital data and sends it to the cloud. The collected data includes vibration, temperature, sound and EM field. By the use of Artificial Intelligence cloud searches for anomalies in collected data. If anomaly is detected, the users are notified via email, so action can take place. This kind of detection can diagnose problems in the future, before motor breaks down. If for example bearing is almost worn out, this will show in vibration pattern changes, and system will alert floor manager in factory that motor will fail soon. This project is a part of industry 4.0 incentive, specifically predictive maintenance. The system reduces overall costs and downtime in production plants, where machine failure can cause substantial financial and supply problems.
