eParkingSpot solves the problem of managing of public parking garages in smart cities. The system uses state-of-the-art sensors to detect if the parking spot is occupied or not. It can detect when a car is parked incorrectly, occupying two spots for example, and alert parking garage floor manager to take action. The collected data is sent to the cloud, where various statistics is stored, processed by Artificial Intelligence and made available to owners and garage managers. The data presented includes heatmap of most spot occupation, time of year, week or day when most traffic was detected, trends prediction, etc. Incoming cars are informed about occupied parts of garage and where most of the spots are available. The traffic signalization is implemented using LCD displays, making extra info like commercials, special messages and traffic diversion available to the passing cars.
